This page covers the structure of a market's channels as one part of a landscape: which layers are present between producer and buyer and how well public sources let each one be seen. It describes structure and visibility; it does not choose a route, name the role a partner would play or select a partner.
The landscape reads the channel as layers: direct sale by the producer, importers and distributors, wholesale, retail, online marketplaces and specialist or trade channels. For each layer the report records whether public sources show it, through which kind of source, and which example companies they name. A layer that the sources do not show is reported as unavailable, not assumed to be absent.
This describes the landscape. Sorting partner types for a brief and a search for partners that fit set criteria are separate services, and shipping the goods is a separate LATYNEX service again.
Whether the producer's own pages show direct sale or name intermediaries, and how it describes tiers or territories.
Whether the category's importers and distributors are visible, and through which sources.
What trade catalogues and shelf or online listings show about who stocks the category.
Which operators list the category, as the listing shows it.
Margins, contract terms and exclusivity arrangements are recorded as unavailable unless a source publishes them, instead of being assumed.
The report highlights which layers are present and which products currently reach buyers without one.
The report shows which layers are visible in the category and through which sources.
The report records which parties list the product publicly, which is a visible fact, and does not draw conclusions beyond the listing.
Outside scope: recommending a channel, assessing the reliability of any named company or monitoring listings on an automated basis.
Research reports what can be established from public and provided sources. It is not a guarantee about a counterparty's future conduct and not legal advice.
A research pack collects and structures evidence and stops before the decision. Whether and how to enter the market is a separate assessment.
It may name example companies to illustrate each layer. A criteria-based partner search is a different service.
No. It lays out the structure and the evidence level; choosing a route is your decision, and a feasibility question belongs to Consulting.
Each entry carries the date the source was read, since channel structures change.
