A SaaS price page lists plans, seats and usage thresholds, and the same product can look cheap or dear depending on how many users and what volume you assume. Many vendors publish only a starting tier. This page explains how we benchmark vendor pricing against a usage profile you define.
We write a usage profile with you: users or seats, the volume metric and the billing preference. Every vendor's public plans are then read against that profile, and the capabilities you name decide which published tier is the comparable one. Where a vendor publishes no figure and asks for contact, that vendor is reported as price not published, not estimated.
The profile and the plan chosen for each vendor are both recorded, so you can change an assumption and see which comparison it affects.
Entry tiers decide the answer, so the benchmark spends its effort on where a free plan stops and which published tier first covers the named capabilities.
The vendor's own tier ladder matters more than competitors, and the report shows where the next threshold falls.
Competitor plans are read on the same profile so the report shows how each is positioned, without recommending a structure.
Quoted contracts are not public. If you hold one, it is added as client-provided.
The work of moving between tools is not priced here.
Which tool suits your work is a matter for trials and your own judgement.
Seats, volume metric and the term you would sign, written down once.
The lowest tier on each vendor's page that offers the capabilities you named is chosen, and the reason is noted.
Per seat, per usage unit or flat, with the included allowance and the stated price above it, so the figures sit on one basis.
Vendors that show no figure for the profile appear as price not published, with what they say about how pricing is set.

No. We read published pricing and any quote you provide; we do not negotiate.
The report states that, and lists what each vendor says about how pricing is set.
No. It is a dated report, not a monitoring system.
