This page describes the contents of the RFQ and Supplier Comparison deliverable and the order in which it is read, so you can see in advance what the purchase decision will rest on and how each statement in it can be challenged.
The pack opens with a recommendation summary: the supplier the evidence supports under your criteria and the conditions on which that holds. Behind it sit the comparison matrix on its stated basis, the flags for gaps and missing terms, the RFQ the quotes answered, and the source log. Findings are classed as verified fact, inference, unavailable or client-provided, so a reader can tell what was read in a document from what was concluded.
A recommendation in the pack is a reading of the evidence under your stated weights. It does not guarantee a supplier's performance, and it is not a negotiation or a contract.
The pack makes no statement about it: credit ratings and financial standing are outside the service.
Legal review and shipping are separate matters; the pack notes where a decision depends on them.
The recommendation and the conditions it holds under, in a form a person who did not run the process can follow.
Quotes restated to the stated basis, with each adjustment visible and each missing term marked as unavailable.
A section names the assumptions and the open points that, if resolved differently, would change the order of the suppliers.
Each document used is listed with its origin, so a reviewer can go back to the original.
Research reports what can be established from public and provided sources. It is not a guarantee about a counterparty's future conduct and not legal advice.
A written summary with the comparison matrix and the gap flags attached.
Yes. The pack records the criteria and evidence; where your preferred supplier ranks lower under your own weights, the summary says so plainly.
The pack reflects the quotes in scope when it was delivered. A further comparison would be scoped separately.
