Marketplace badges, years on the platform and response rates are signals the platform chose to publish. They help you find a supplier. They do not tell you who the contracting entity is. This review moves from the listing to the company that actually issues the invoice.
We start from the profile: shop name, stated location, company name if given, and any numbers on it. The first task is to identify the legal entity that would sign and be paid, since a shop may trade under a name that appears in no register. The entity is then read against public records and the supplier's own website, and the report notes where the platform's claims stop and independent sources begin.
Marketplace data is taken as the supplier's or the platform's statement and is labelled as such. Only records from a registry or another party outside the platform count as a source distinct from the listing.
Reported as what the platform displays. We do not know how the platform assigns them, so no inference about the supplier's quality is drawn from them.
A name and address on the page are used as search leads, then tested against a register. If the register disagrees, both are shown.
We do not authenticate images. The report may note that the same images appear on other profiles when that is visible, as an inference only.
The question is whether the contracting entity holds the production. The report says what the records show about activity and what only the supplier can confirm.
The review compares the recorded activity and address with the factory claim and presents the gap as a question to put to the seller.
The report states which comparisons were made on the on-platform identity and which on the entity named in the offer, so you can see what carries over. What a platform's own terms protect is not assessed.
Plus any chat extracts where the supplier gave a legal name or number.
An order placed on the platform and one placed directly with the seller are read against different identities.
Their letterhead may name an entity the listing does not.
Research reports what can be established from public and provided sources. It is not a guarantee about a counterparty's future conduct and not legal advice.
It may help, but the platform's methods are not visible to us. The review reads independent records.
We try to identify the entity from the sources available, and report if that could not be done.
The work is desk research on public sources and the material you provide. Negotiating with a supplier is not part of the service.
No obligation. We read your request and reply with a straight answer.
