How to Ship From China to Saudi Arabia
Air or sea — the right mode depends on your timeline, cargo weight and budget. Jeddah is the primary sea gateway used for this page's figures; Dammam runs on a separate, confirmed-at-quote timeline.
Air Freight — 4–6 Days (airport-to-airport)
From major Chinese airports to Jeddah, Riyadh or Dammam. Airport-to-airport transit — Saudi customs clearance and final delivery are separate and confirmed at quote stage. Best for time-sensitive, high-value or low-weight cargo.
Sea Freight — From 18 Days (port-to-port)
FCL to Jeddah: 18–22 days port-to-port, the primary sea gateway from South China. Dammam (King Abdulaziz Port) is a separate eastern-Saudi gateway with its own transit figures, confirmed at quote stage. Saudi customs clearance and final delivery are not included in the port-to-port figure. Most cost-effective for regular volume cargo.
SABER / SASO Conformity
Saudi conformity requirements depend on the product. Where a SASO Technical Regulation applies, a Product Certificate of Conformity (PCoC) plus a Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) is required via the SABER platform; products outside a Technical Regulation instead follow a Self Declaration route with an SCoC for the consignment. We confirm applicability for your product and help coordinate the process.
Express — 2–4 Days
Urgent shipments via express air courier. Samples, replacement stock and time-critical consignments delivered door-to-door to Saudi Arabia in 2–4 business days from Shenzhen or Shanghai.
DDP — Available on Request
Saudi Arabia is outside our currently listed DDP destinations. Where DDP is arranged, Saudi customs duty and VAT can be pre-paid as part of the quote, subject to shipment structure and confirmation — contact us with your commodity and destination details.
ZATCA Customs Documentation
Commercial invoice, packing list, customs declaration through the Fasah platform and SABER conformity certificates are handled as part of our arranged customs process where DDP applies. Current applicable duty and VAT confirmed before you book.
FCL — Full Container Load
Your cargo fills an entire container and travels without being mixed with other shippers' goods — typically fastest via Jeddah. Suits larger or regular shipment volumes.
LCL — Less Than Container Load
Your cargo shares a container with other shippers' goods and you pay only for the space you use, including consolidation/deconsolidation steps — useful for smaller, regular shipments under 5 CBM.

We prepare and file Chinese export documentation and clear cargo for export at the relevant Chinese port or airport.
International transit: air or sea
Your cargo travels via your agreed mode. Air: 4–6 days airport-to-airport to a Saudi gateway airport. Sea: 18–22 days port-to-port to Jeddah; Dammam runs on a separate, confirmed-at-quote timeline.

Cargo arrives at a Saudi gateway airport (air) or Jeddah Islamic Port / King Abdulaziz Port, Dammam (sea).
ZATCA import customs clearance
The import declaration is filed through the Fasah platform with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA). Where required, SABER conformity certificates are verified before release. Where DDP is arranged, Saudi duty and VAT are paid on your behalf; for DAP, we notify you of the amount for self-payment.
Final delivery to your Saudi address
Cleared cargo is delivered to your specified address: warehouse, office, or 3PL fulfilment centre.

Saudi Customs Duty (GCC Common Tariff)
Saudi Arabia applies the GCC Common Customs Tariff — customs duty depends on the product's tariff classification. We confirm your product's exact classification and current duty rate before quoting, never a generic percentage.
Saudi VAT — 15% (ZATCA)
