Sea Freight — 25–37 Days
FCL and LCL from Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Guangzhou to Gdańsk or Gdynia — Poland's two main Baltic container ports. Cost-effective for regular volume cargo.

You want a middle ground between cost and speed on a suitable corridor — rail via Małaszewicze is typically faster than sea and slower than air, depending on current routing and capacity.
Choose Air If...
Cargo is urgent, higher-value or lower-volume — air to Warsaw is generally faster but materially more expensive for bulky or heavy freight.

Arrival in Poland
Cargo arrives at Gdańsk/Gdynia (sea), Małaszewicze (rail), or Warsaw (air). Our Polish customs broker is notified on arrival and begins import filing immediately.
Polish import customs clearance
The import declaration is filed with Polish customs (Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa) as part of our arranged customs process. Under DDP, where applicable, EU duty and Polish VAT are paid on your behalf; under DAP, we notify you of the amount payable.
Final delivery to your Polish address
Cleared cargo is delivered to your specified address: warehouse, office, Amazon FC, or 3PL fulfilment centre. For Amazon FBA, we manage the FC delivery appointment.

EU Import Duty (TARIC)
Poland is part of the EU Customs Union — import duty rates follow the EU's Common External Tariff (TARIC), identical to the rest of the EU. The exact rate depends on your product's HS code. We calculate your duty rate before confirming any DDP quote.
Polish VAT
Import VAT is charged at Poland's standard rate of 23% on the customs value plus duty, with reduced rates (8% or 5%) for certain goods categories. Under DDP, Latynex pre-pays this on your behalf. VAT-registered Polish businesses can typically reclaim it on their regular VAT return.
EORI Number
An EORI number is generally required to file import customs declarations in Poland. Under DDP, where available, import customs clearance is arranged on your behalf so you typically don't need one for that shipment. Under DAP, you would register an EORI with Polish customs (KAS) before your first import.
Rail Corridor Gateway
Because Poland is where China–Europe rail freight transfers from the wider Russian/Belarusian gauge onto standard European gauge track at Małaszewicze, Polish-bound rail cargo generally has a more direct routing than rail shipments continuing further into the EU. This is a genuine geographic advantage for Poland specifically, not a claim about pricing or guaranteed transit times.
