Full Service

Everything Latynex Handles for FBA Logistics

From factory collection in China to delivery at the Amazon FC door — every stage of FBA logistics in a single managed service.

FNSKU Labeling Per Unit

We apply the correct FNSKU barcode label to each unit in your shipment. Labels are sourced from your Seller Central shipment plan and placed to Amazon's placement specifications — no label rejections at the FC.

Carton & Pallet Compliance

Every carton is checked against Amazon's requirements before loading: weight under limit (≤23 kg EU / ≤22.7 kg US), dimensions, box content accuracy and stacking compliance. Pallets built to FC specifications on request.

FBA Prep: Poly Bag, Wrap & Label

Full prep service: poly bagging with suffocation warning stickers, bubble wrap for fragile items, desiccant packets for moisture-sensitive cargo, and over-boxing where required by Amazon's category rules.

Direct Amazon FC Delivery

We deliver directly to your assigned Amazon fulfilment centre. Booking, delivery appointment, truck dispatch and POD are all handled — including Amazon's required carrier booking processes for EU and US facilities.

China Warehouse & Inventory Buffer

We hold your consolidated cargo in our China warehouse while confirming your shipment plan, FC assignment and pick window with Amazon. No cargo is shipped until the plan is locked and the delivery window confirmed.

Shipment Planning & Timing

We work with your restock timeline, IPI score constraints and Amazon send quantity limits to plan the shipment mode, departure date and split-shipment strategy — so your inventory lands at the FC when you need it.

The Process

How FBA Shipping From China Works

Eight stages from your Seller Central shipment plan to Amazon FC receipt — all managed by Latynex.

The biggest risk in FBA logistics from China is not the freight — it is the handoffs. Every time your shipment passes from one party to another, there is a risk of miscommunication, labeling error or timing failure. Latynex removes those handoffs by managing all eight stages in-house, from China to FC door.

1

Create your shipment plan in Seller Central

Before collection begins, you create a shipment plan in your Amazon Seller Central account. This assigns the FC, confirms the ASIN list and generates the FNSKU labels we need. Share the shipment plan and label file with Latynex — we handle everything from here.

2

Latynex collects from your Chinese supplier

Our China-based team collects from your supplier's factory or warehouse in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Yiwu, Ningbo or any other Chinese city. We record unit and carton quantities at the point of collection. Multi-supplier pickup and consolidation is available.

3

Goods arrive at our China consolidation warehouse

Your cargo arrives at our China consolidation facility. We unpack, count and photograph goods against your purchase order. Any quantity discrepancies, packaging defects or labeling issues are flagged to you before prep begins — not after the shipment leaves China.

4

FBA prep: labeling, packaging, carton build

We apply FNSKU labels per unit, complete all prep requirements (poly bags, bubble wrap, suffocation stickers), pack into Amazon-compliant cartons, and build carton-level box content records. All prep follows Amazon's Packaging and Prep Requirements documentation.

5

Carton labels applied and shipment plan filed

Amazon's FBA box labels are applied to each carton matching your shipment plan. Box content information is filed in Seller Central. We confirm the carton count, weight and dimensions against the plan before export.

6

Export customs clearance in China

Your cargo is exported from the Chinese port or airport with full export documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, export declaration and customs release. DDP customers receive no further action required at this stage.

7

International freight: air or sea

Your cargo travels via the agreed mode. Air freight: 5–14 days to EU FCs, 7–14 days to US FCs. Sea freight: 28–42 days. We provide tracking milestones so you can update your expected inventory lead time in Seller Central.

8

Import customs clearance and delivery to Amazon FC

Our licensed customs broker clears your cargo at the destination port or airport. Under DDP, all import duties and VAT are pre-paid. We book the FC delivery appointment, dispatch a local carrier and deliver to the Amazon fulfilment centre door — tracking confirmed to you on receipt.

Amazon Requirements

FBA Prep Requirements Latynex Handles for You

Amazon's fulfilment centres enforce strict packaging, labeling and carton rules. Non-compliance leads to FC rejections, returns and additional fees. We ensure every shipment is compliant before it leaves China.

FNSKU Barcode Per Unit

Each sellable unit must carry an FNSKU label — Amazon's internal identifier. Labels must be placed on the outermost scannable surface and cannot cover any existing barcode. Latynex applies labels per Amazon's placement rules for every SKU.

Poly Bags & Suffocation Stickers

Items that could be considered a suffocation hazard (bags, poly packaging, any opening ≥5 inches) must be bagged with a printed suffocation warning. Latynex provides compliant poly bags and pre-printed warning labels for all applicable SKUs.

Carton Weight & Dimension Limits

EU FBA cartons must not exceed 23 kg / 50.7 lbs. US FBA cartons: 22.7 kg / 50 lbs. Carton dimensions must not exceed 63.5 cm on any single side for standard items. Latynex builds cartons to these specifications and weighs every box before loading.

Bubble Wrap for Fragile Items

Fragile products (glass, ceramics, electronics with exposed components) must be individually wrapped so they can survive a 1.5-metre drop test. Latynex applies bubble wrap, foam, and over-boxing for categories that require extra protection per Amazon's standards.

Box Content Information Filed

Amazon requires box content information for every carton in a shipment. This must match exactly what is inside each box. Latynex records unit-per-carton data during packing and files box content in Seller Central as part of our standard FBA service.

Amazon Carton Labels on All Boxes

Every carton must carry the Amazon FBA box label generated from your shipment plan, placed on the largest flat surface. Labels must not be placed over carton seams or tape. Latynex applies these labels as the final step before palletisation.

Amazon updates its FBA prep requirements regularly. Latynex monitors Amazon Seller Central policy updates and adjusts prep procedures accordingly. If your product category has specific requirements (e.g. restricted products, age-gated items, battery-containing devices), flag this when you submit your shipment details.

Why DDP FBA?

Latynex DDP FBA vs Self-Managed FBA Import

Many Amazon sellers manage freight and customs separately — using a standard forwarder for freight and a local customs broker for import. Here is how that compares to using Latynex for a complete DDP FBA service.

Latynex DDP FBA
Self-Managed FBA Import
Customs clearance at destination
Handled by Latynex
You arrange a customs broker
Import duty & VAT payment
Pre-paid, included in quote
Separate bill on arrival
EORI number required

Yes (EU) / CBP bond (US)
FBA prep (FNSKU, poly bag, carton)
Included
Separate prep centre needed
Risk of customs delay at FC

Falls on seller
Missed FBA pick window risk
Low — Latynex coordinates
High — multiple parties
Points of contact
One (Latynex end-to-end)
Supplier + forwarder + customs + prep centre
Visibility of total landed cost
Single all-in quote
Multiple invoices, estimated

Self-managed imports can work for experienced Amazon sellers with established customs broker relationships and EORI registrations in each market. For sellers new to importing from China, or those scaling into new FBA markets, DDP FBA with Latynex significantly reduces risk and administrative overhead.

Cost Guidance

FBA Shipping Cost From China — Air vs Sea

Indicative DDP FBA rates including freight, import duty, customs handling and FC delivery. All-in costs — no additional charges at destination.

DDP Cost Guide — China → Amazon EUIndicative ranges
ModeTransitDDP Cost RangeBest For
Air Freight + DDP5–12 days€10–24 / kgFast movers, urgent restock
Sea Freight + DDP28–38 days€2–5 / kgPlanned replenishment, large volumes

DDP rates include air or sea freight + EU import duty + import VAT + customs handling + last-mile to Amazon FC. Import duty rates vary by product HS code. Import VAT is charged at destination rate (e.g. 19% Germany, 20% UK) and may be reclaimable by VAT-registered businesses.

China → Amazon US Fulfilment Centres

DDP Cost Guide — China → Amazon USIndicative ranges
ModeTransitDDP Cost RangeBest For
Air Freight + DDP7–14 days€9–20 / kgUrgent restock, high-velocity SKUs
Sea Freight + DDP28–42 days€1.8–4.5 / kgHigh volume, planned inventory

DDP rates include freight + US import duty + CBP fees + ISF filing + drayage to Amazon FC. Section 301 tariffs applicable on certain product categories from China — we calculate your specific duty rate before confirming the quote.

Air vs Sea for FBA — the real calculation: For most Amazon sellers, the choice between air and sea freight should factor in the opportunity cost of stockout risk, not just the freight rate difference. A product generating €80/day in sales sitting on a sea vessel for 35 extra days costs €2,800 in lost revenue — often more than the freight savings from choosing sea over air. We discuss this calculation as part of every FBA shipment consultation.

Why Specialist Matters

Why Amazon Sellers Use a Dedicated FBA Forwarder

General freight forwarders move boxes. An FBA specialist understands that missed pick windows, FC rejections and customs holds directly damage your seller metrics and cash flow.

Amazon FC rejections are expensive

If Amazon rejects a delivery at the FC — due to a labeling error, carton weight breach or missing documentation — your inventory is returned at your cost, restocked fees apply and your restock timeline is broken. A specialist FBA forwarder prevents this at the source.

Customs delays destroy FBA timing

Standard forwarders hand off import customs to the seller or a third party. Any delay adds days to your lead time when your inventory is already in transit. Latynex manages customs as part of the DDP service — we own the timeline, not just the freight.

Fewer parties means fewer errors

A typical unmanaged FBA shipment involves your supplier, a freight forwarder, a customs broker, a prep centre and a local courier. Each handoff is a risk point. Latynex handles every stage — one instruction, one invoice, one point of accountability.

Inventory planning is a logistics decision

When to ship, in what quantity and by which mode directly affects your IPI score, storage fees and sell-through rate. We don't just move boxes — we help you decide when to send, how much and which freight mode fits your reorder cycle.
