What is the difference between prime and standby power?
Prime power is rated for long running with a variable load; standby power is for emergency supply for a limited time. The two values differ for the same set, so state the duty rating in your request.
Which matters more, kW or kVA?
Selection needs active power in kW and the power factor of the load. If your specification is in kVA, say so in the comments and we will convert it.
Can I order a single set?
The minimum order depends on the factory and model. We confirm it with the manufacturer and state it in the offer.
Which engine should I choose?
It depends on service and spare parts in your region and on the power. You can state a preference in the request and we will compare the options.
What are the lead times?
Production and delivery time depend on the model and the factory's workload. The lead time is stated in the written offer.
What warranty applies?
The warranty terms are set by the manufacturer. We tell you before ordering, together with the claims procedure.
Is a cold-climate set possible?
For low temperatures an insulated, heated container is usually chosen. The manufacturer confirms feasibility and parameters; see the page on containerized sets.
