Containers for construction and industrial sites
For buyers who need many identical, robust units on a schedule: site stores, secure tool rooms and temporary capacity that can move with the project.
At a glance
Specify these for a site order
- Number of units and whether they arrive together or in stages as work packages start.
- Size and height: 20', 40', or 40' high cube where you need headroom for racks or equipment.
- Grade: wind and watertight for stores; better grades where doors will open and close all day for years.
- Doors: standard double doors, or a request to be quoted for an opening or a different door arrangement.
- Delivery windows: dates, site access, who receives the lorry and how units are placed.
- Re-use: whether you will keep the units after the project, move them to the next site or sell them back.
Uniform units are the point
A project that needs ten site stores does not want ten different boxes. Uniform size and grade make layout, lifting and later resale simpler. When you register, a defined quantity and grade lets us look for a single matching lot instead of assembling one from several small ones.
If the market cannot supply that many identical units at once, we say so, and propose splitting the order into deliveries that fit the programme.
Site stores, tool rooms and temporary capacity
On a construction site a container works as a lockable store for tools and materials, a dry room for documents, or a place for equipment that must not stand outdoors. In industry, containers are used as temporary warehouse capacity, shelter for a mobile plant or storage for spare parts while a building is altered.
These uses reward a sound steel shell and doors that work. They rarely need a cargo-worthy box, so the buyer can often save by choosing wind and watertight units in lots.
Delivery is part of the order
On an active site the lorry has to arrive when the crane or forklift is there. Delivery is coordinated with the agreed lot and priced with the terms. Give us the site address area, access limits and your preferred windows; a lot that cannot be delivered when you need it is not a fit.
Buying, moving on and selling back
Containers hold their usefulness after a project. Some buyers move units between sites; others want to place them with a counterparty when the work is done. If you plan to sell, mention it: it influences which grade makes sense. Reporting your units later through the owners' page starts the same process in the other direction.
