The most common mistake in choosing a UPS is selecting by kilovolt-amperes alone. What matters is active power, the character of the load (servers, motors, frequency converters), the run time you need and the site conditions.

We collect your site's parameters, match models from Chinese manufacturers and compare offers together with batteries and extra cabinets: a UPS without batteries is half a system.

System types

Which UPS fits which task

Online (double conversion)

The load is always fed through the inverter, with no transfer. Suited to server rooms, telecom equipment and sensitive industrial load.

Modular systems

Power grows by adding power modules; hot-swap and redundancy are possible. Convenient when load is expected to grow.

Monoblock three-phase

A single cabinet for a given power at sites with a clear load. Simpler in scope but scales in steps.

Battery cabinets

External cabinets extend run time. Lead-acid and lithium batteries differ in size, service life and operating conditions.

UPS for industrial load

Loads with motors and frequency converters need power margin and attention to starting currents.

Distribution and bypass

External bypasses, distribution panels and parallel schemes follow the site's power supply design.

What to define

Parameters for your request

Power

State the load in kilowatts and kilovolt-amperes or list the equipment. Add margin for growth.

Load type

Servers, pumps and motors, lighting, medical or laboratory equipment. Load type sets the power factor and margin.

Voltage and phases

Input and output voltage, number of phases, frequency. For three-phase systems the neutral is clarified.

Run time

How many minutes or hours the system must run on batteries. It sets battery capacity and cabinet size.

Redundancy

Whether parallel UPS units, an N+1 scheme or a second feed are needed.

Installation

Room or cabinet, temperature, ventilation, dimensions, access to the floor, prepared foundation.

Typical parameters

Orientation values for your request

Ranges are indicative. A written offer confirms exact models, configuration and terms.

TopologyOnline double conversion for critical load; other topologies for less critical tasks
PowerFrom a few kVA for small sites to hundreds of kVA for modular systems; larger sites use several UPS in parallel
PhasesSingle phase for small loads, three phase for industrial; input and output can differ
BatteriesLead-acid (VRLA) or lithium (LFP), built in or in external cabinets
Run timeSet by battery capacity: from minutes to several hours with extra cabinets
MonitoringData interfaces and remote monitoring depend on the model; confirmed in the request
Price, lead time, warrantyStated by the manufacturer in the offer

The scope of the set (UPS, batteries, cabinets, bypass) and all terms are fixed in a written offer.

Process

How a UPS purchase works

Five steps; the order is placed with the manufacturer only after your confirmation.

  1. 01

    Load and run time

You describe the load, the run time needed, the voltage and the site conditions.

  2. 02

    System selection

We choose the UPS topology, modular or monoblock, and the batteries that deliver the run time you need.

  3. 03

    Comparing sets

We compare offers by what is included (UPS, batteries, cabinets, bypass), lead time, warranty, payment and shipping terms.

  4. 04

    Agreement

We confirm dimensions, connection and document requirements before the order.

  5. 05

    Production and delivery

The manufacturer builds the set to order and we organise delivery and documents. Batteries travel under dangerous-goods rules.

How we work

What to know

  • A UPS without batteries gives no run time: always state the run time you need in the request.
  • Batteries (lithium in particular) travel under dangerous-goods rules, which affects lead time and shipping cost.
  • Installation, commissioning and service are not part of the standard supply. We discuss them separately.
  • Document and certification requirements depend on the destination country. We clarify them with the manufacturer before the order.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

How does an online UPS differ from a line-interactive one?

An online UPS always feeds the load through the inverter and does not transfer, so it suits critical load. Line-interactive units are simpler and cheaper but allow a short transfer.

How do I choose the run time?

It depends on the task: minutes are enough for a clean server shutdown, tens of minutes for a generator start, and long run times need battery cabinets or a storage system. Describe the task and we will clarify.

Lead-acid or lithium batteries?

Lead-acid is cheaper to buy, lithium is more compact and lasts longer but needs separate handling for documents and shipping. The choice depends on where it is installed and the service life you plan.

What does modular UPS mean?

A system of power modules in a common cabinet: power grows by adding modules, and a failed module is replaced without switching off the load.

Can I order a single UPS?

The minimum order depends on the factory and model. We clarify it with the manufacturer and state it in the offer.

Do you service the UPS after delivery?

Installation, commissioning and service are not part of the standard supply. If you need them, we discuss them separately.

Describe the load and we will match a UPS

Power, run time and destination country are enough.
