Used, SOC and one-way container resale in Spain

Spain's two big Mediterranean container ports look alike on a map but differ in what they show: Valencia reports record full imports, while Barcelona's port lists empty-container depots on its own pages. LATYNEX registers supply and demand across Spain and matches professional counterparties under human review.

Areas we cover

Valencia, Barcelona and Bilbao each have their own page with sourced port context. Other Spanish ports and inland places are handled on request: name the place in the form and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Why the two ports get separate pages

A box at Valencia and a box at Barcelona are several hours apart by road, so we never treat Spain as one place. Requests are compared by the real distance between the two locations and the reviewer sees it.

Owners and buyers

Owners report used, one-way, SOC, off-hire or damaged containers with type, quantity and release date. Buyers register a type, a quantity range and how far they can collect, and whether the need repeats. Nothing is displayed to a counterparty until both sides confirm.

Euro and customs

Spain uses the euro and lies inside the EU customs territory, so a lot arriving from outside still needs its customs position clear before resale. That is a matter for you and your agent.
